Tato dražší varianta má vyrobenou čepel z jiné ocele - CPM-S35VN. To je martinická nerezová ocel navržena tak, aby nabídla lepší houževnatost. Její chemické složení bylo vybalancováno tak, že CPM-S35VN dosahuje tvrdosti mezi 58 až 61 HRC. Levnější varianta je z ocele - Carpenter CTS® XHP Alloy with DLC Coating.
