ASUS Z97-PRO GAMER je základní deska s chipsetem Intel Z97, která nabízí několik možností pro zapojení grafické karty. Má dva sloty PCI-Express 3.0 x16 a jeden PCI-Express 2.0 x16. Aktuálně na trhu například 1650 by byla vhodná karta pro tuto desku. Nejlepší karta se nedá přesně určit, záleží na ostatních komponentech.
