Celkovo táto otázka, či televízor sám o sebe môže ovládať motorizovanú parabolu cez protokol DiSEqC 1.2 alebo USALS, je veľmi relevantná — a odpoveď zvyčajne znie: nie — väčšina TV to nepodporuje, alebo aspoň to nie je bežné, takže to môže byť dôvod, prečo ste túto funkciu v menu TV nenašiel.
Ak Vám ide o ovládanie motorizovanej paraboly — nerátajte s tým, že stačí len TV. Najspoľahlivejšie je riešenie: externý satelitný prijímač / tuner s DiSEqC/USALS, ktorý pripojíte k TV cez HDMI, a parabola ide cez prijímač.
