Dobrý den, u HDMI 2.1 je maximem 144 Hz. Přes DisplayPort je možné dosáhnout 240 Hz.

Jak je to možné? HDMI 2.1 by mělo zvládat až 8K při 60Hz a u 2k rozlišení by mělo být 240Hz. Je součástí monitoru nedostatečně dimenzovaný kabel, nebo kde je problém?

ano, může to být normální jev. Při vyšší obnovovací frekvenci (240 Hz) může u některých kusů docházet k tzv. cívkovému pískání (coil whine) z napájecích obvodů monitoru, které při 144 Hz slyšet není. Pokud je pískání výrazné nebo rušivé, doporučujeme řešit reklamaci, protože intenzita se může lišit kus od kusu.
