je možné připojit tento monitor k laptopu s konektorem USB 3.1 Gen2 (usb-c) ? Nevím jaká je tu kompatibilita mezi již popsaným usb-c 3.1 gen 2 a thunderboltem co má tento monitor.

Ano, je to možné. Porty 3.1 Gen2 (usb-c) a Thunderbolt 3 se od sebe liší pouze datovou propustností a rozsahem přenášeného nabíjecího výkonu. Profil konektoru mají shodný.
