The QNAP TVS-675-8G network storage device stores, backs up and shares data in both home and business environments. The device is powered by an octa-core 2.5GHz ZhaoXin KX-U6580 processor with a 64-bit x86 architecture. The 8GB of DDR4 RAM can be expanded to 64GB for stable multitasking and smooth virtual machine operation. The design includes six bays for SATA hard drives and two slots for fast M.2 NVMe SSD modules. Network connectivity is provided by two 2.5Gb/s ports and video output is handled by an HDMI 2.0 interface. The system runs on the pre-installed QTS 5.2.9 operating system. The QTS operating system offers comprehensive tools to protect important information. Block-level system snapshots record the state of your data at a specific point in time and help with recovery after a ransomware attack. The Hybrid Backup Sync application then combines backups to the cloud, remote servers or external drives. This makes the entire data recovery process very fast and reliable.

The octa-core 2.5GHz ZhaoXin KX-U6580 processor provides plenty of computing power to run multiple tasks in parallel. The x86 architecture supports running virtual machines for efficient virtualisation. Hardware-based AES-NI encryption protects stored data from unauthorised access without any drop in transfer speed. The 8GB of system memory can be used in dual-channel mode to increase overall throughput.
Fast connection
The device is equipped with two 2.5Gb/s Ethernet ports. These network connectors support Port Trunking, which combines both lines into a single channel with a total transfer speed of up to 5Gb/s.
