The device is equipped with a DC motor driven by a silicone strap. The metal 8.6" tone arm is seated on a new stainless steel bearing in a bronze Teflon-coated housing. The MDF plate with a low-resonance and a felt pad delivers pure, vibration-free sound. The turntable is shipped with the Ortofon OM5E transmitter so you just have to connect it to a suitable pre-amp system and you can start listening in excellent quality!
