The Pro-Ject E1 is a turntable from the budget-friendly E-line, aiming to deliver a true hi-fi sound at a surprisingly low price. The manufacturing process and choice of materials result in an elegant, stylish design and a rich, vibrant sound. Setting up the turntable is very simple and intuitive. The tonearm is fitted with a cartridge and the tracking force is already preset. All you need to do is fit the belt, platter, and dust cover, and connect the turntable to a suitable phono-level input on your amplifier (or preamp) – then you’re ready to play.

The lightweight 8.6” low-friction aluminium tonearm is optimised for the high-quality, pre-installed Audio Technica AT 3600 L cartridge to unleash its full potential.
Stable operation and simple speed control
The Pro-Ject E1 turntable features a main platter made from reinforced ABS polymer, which creates a suitable platform for your vinyl records. The platter is belt-driven by a damped DC motor. An electronic speed change is a welcome feature in this price category. Simply move the three-position switch on the side to the desired position for 33 or 45rpm. Three damped feet provide effective isolation from unwanted vibrations, and a removable transparent dust cover is also included.
Accurate tonearm tracking for stable playback
Thanks to its drive design, the Pro-Ject E1 ensures the smooth and stable platter rotation needed for the tonearm and stylus to track the groove accurately. The E1 turntable’s straight tonearm is based on Pro-Ject’s proven designs. An effective length of 8.6”, an aluminium construction, a specially developed headshell and a superb low-friction bearing are all crucial aspects for correct tracking accuracy.
Fully equipped with cables and accessories
The Pro-Ject E1 includes a directly attached, shielded, low-capacitance phono cable (1.23m) with RCA connectors. Also included is a 7" single adapter, a dust cover, and a felt platter mat for extra protection for your records. A separate 15V / 0.8A DC power supply is also part of the package.
