By its very nature, optical fibre transmission is immune to external electromagnetic interference. The result is a clean sound with no noise or distortion. The gold-plated metal connectors ensure a reliable connection. The metal body increases their mechanical durability, while the gold-plating on the contacts prevents oxidation and ensures stable signal transmission.
