This cost-effective set of three Polaroid filters is designed to bring you better photographic results. The set includes a circular polarising, grey, and UV filter.
The Polaroid polarising filter reduces glare, ghosting, and unwanted reflections. It filters glare reflected by glossy non-metallic objects, such as glass. It greatly increases the saturation of the sky and leaves, but also clears the haze in landscape shots. Unlike the linear polariser, the circular polarisation filter supports full autofocus and exposure. The filter is made of optical glass and has an aluminium filter ring for higher rigidity and expansion resistance under temperature changes.
The Polaroid UV filter is a great tool especially for outdoor photography. It absorbs ultraviolet radiation and reduces the bluish tinge of daylight, giving the image optimum colours. The multilayer surface reduces surface reflections, preserves neutral colours and light transmission. The UV filter does not affect colour or contrast changes, so you can combine it with other filters.
The grey neutral filter lets you slightly darken the scene so you can shoot at a wider aperture and with a slow shutter speed. This allows you to create unique captures of live scenes. The wavelength intensity decrease varies between 1.3 to 8.6 degrees. The degree of density is set with the rotating ring. The filter does not affect the colours and can therefore be used with other filters. The front size of the filter thread is larger than the size of the mounting thread, which reduces the risk of vignetting.
