This fast and powerful desktop scanner is optimal for digitizing books. It allows you to quickly and effectively scan books without distorting the text or displaying disctracting shadows. The device allows you to scan text that is very close to the edge of the page and has the ability to transmit scanned data directly to the printer. The device uses new SEE technology (Shadow Elimination Element), eliminating shadows and ensuring a clear, accurate scan. The scanner has a special edge LED lamp. This makes it easy to scan a whole page.
The device has an optical resolution of 1200dpi and can scan a maximum document size of 216 x 297mm. The performance of this device is evidenced by a duty cycle of up to 2500 scans per day. The device is compatible with the operating systems Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7 K which requires an external power adapter which is of course included as well as a set of practical software for full use of this device.
