The Pioneer PD-50 SACD player is built to achieve truly authentic audio and features a rigid sub-chassis and an aluminium front panel, which includes a separate shield and dual transformer. The shield protects the signal board and the single signal paths are as short as possible. The Auto Level Control modifies the differences in volume between songs.

For users who would like to take advantage of the PD-50's extremely high D/A quality, you can connect compatible, optical or coaxial outputs of another device to the player's digital input.
