ProBioBED SOFT bedding is light, soft and very pleasant shavings with high absorption capacity. The very fine structure of spruce wood guarantees extremely fast absorption. The litter is suitable for breeders where immediate fluid absorption is a priority. In the production process, this type of bedding cannot be completely dusted off, it contains small wood particles, therefore it cannot be described as completely dust-free. The bedding can be used for many types of livestock and domestic animals, including pets like guinea pigs, hamsters, hadi, hedgehogs, chinchillas, rats and many others. The bedding is sterile and contains no chemical additives, binders or flavourings. The volume of the litter pack is 350 litres. The tubers are stored dry.

Sterility
The absence of pathogenic micro-organisms is particularly required where there is a risk of spreading infectious diseases that could endanger animal health. The bedding is sterilised in the sterilisation line by means of high temperatures exceeding 230 °C to remove all viable pathogenic organisms.
Extreme absorbency
A natural feature of spruce wood is its extraordinary absorbency. This is due to the fact that it contains a small amount of resins which could close the surface pores of the wood. The excellent absorption is also due to the fine structure of the wood shavings.
Softness and flexibility
The length of the shavings is from 1 to 6 mm, thickness up to 1 mm. The bedding simulates the surface in the wild and thus helps protect the limbs and joints of the animal during movement and rest.
Shelf life
Three times the volume of bedding is mechanically compressed into regular-sized bales. Litter bales can be stacked on top of each other, saving space in the storage hall or even in outdoor areas. After unpacking, the bedding reaches its original volume again.
Saving time
The application of the bedding and its subsequent cleaning is easy, which brings great savings in time and resources.
