Arcadia D3 Basking Lamp emits UVB radiation, heat and intense light (UVA)so that terrarium animals can enjoy optimal conditions close to their natural environment. The heater produces visible UVA light with optimal intensity, which positively influences the behaviour, activity, appetite and reproductive cycles of terrarium animals. UVB radiation is then important for healthy growth and development of animals, promotes metabolism and facilitates the synthesis of vitamin D3. The Arcadia D3 Basking Lamp is also used for spot heating specific areas in the terrarium. The 50° cone of light is focused on specific spots under the bulb, such as branches or rocks, where it creates an ideal environment for sunbathing and basking animals. The heater has an average lifetime of 6000 hours and does not require a ballast to operate.
