Methionine is one of the amino acids that make up the building blocks of proteins. In addition, it is involved in minute amounts in chemical metabolic processes that are important for the health of the animal. It is one of the essential amino acids that animal organisms cannot produce on their own and therefore it is necessary to supply it in the feed. Methionine is considered to be the primary deficiency amino acid contained in home-prepared feed given to domestic animals. Therefore, sufficient methionine must be ensured by adding supplementary feed. Biotin, as a coenzyme, is involved in small amounts in a variety of metabolic processesin the conversion of proteins, sugars and unsaturated fatty acids in the body. It is especially needed to maintain proper function of the skin, coat and claws. Methionine has been found to promote the effects of biotin (synergistic action).

Dosing
Dogs: 1 tablet per 10 kg once a day for 3-5 weeks, then ¼ tablet per 10 kg once a day.
Cats: ½-1 tablet/day.
Tablet weight: 0,23 g.
