Active ingredients:
Celadrin – is a patented substance that systematically strengthens and moisturises cell membranes, ensuring the cells remain supple and elastic. Its composition combines two substances with similar effects. One of them is a cetyl derivative. Cetyl compounds have been used by the pharmaceutical industry for many years as detoxifying, disinfecting and, consequently, anti-inflammatory agents. The second component is a mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, in particular myristic, myristoleic and palmitic acid. This balanced composition is useful not only because it helps to transport cetyl compounds that are poorly soluble in water, but, as the latest research shows, these components have their own protective and physiological effects. They inhibit 5-lipoxygenase, an enzyme that promotes oxidative and inflammatory processes. It is inflammation that is the source not only of pain, but also of free radicals, which worsen the condition. We can therefore summarise that the components of the patented substance Celadrin are natural antioxidants, help against inflammation and specifically block the activity of the undesirable enzyme.
Menthol – is a substance contained in peppermint that has a mild local anaesthetic effect and helps to improve blood flow to the tissues, which is important for inflammation and pain. The cooling sensation is due to its ability to chemically trigger temperature receptors, thereby providing relief for both acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the joints, muscles and ligaments.
Use:
