The lens is composed of 14 optical elements arranged in 10 groups, including one aspherical element and one ultra-low dispersion (ED) element. Aspherical (ASPH) elements contribute to the compact design of the lens, while effectively suppressing spherical and distortion aberrations. The ED elements minimize chromatic aberrations, ensuring high contrast, sharpness and true-to-life colour reproduction across the entire image area - from the centre to the edges. The MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) curve for distortion compensated lenses shows the dependence of the resolution on the distance from the centre of the corrected image.
