The extra-long focal length of the lens - 400mm - can be extended further with the supplied 1.4x teleconverter up to an incredible 560mm. THe Leica DG Elmarit lens has 15 elements, 2 of which are UED (Ultra Extra Low Dispersion) - these provide the right chromatic aberration to provide sharp, high contrast images with bright colours edge-to-edge. High lens luminance allows you to shoot fast moving objects, while the powerful optical stabilizer Power O.I.S prevents blur and enables shooting in low light. It's also great for video footage in ultra-high 4k resolution. Also, due to dynamic aperture system, you will never again have problems when shooting a video where brightness changes quickly.
