Introducing the Panasonic HC-X1000 Digital Camcorder, the world's first camera that can record in 4K 60p/50p quality on an SD card. It features a top the range Leica Dicomar lens with a new BSI sensor and Crystal Engine Pro 4K. The camera uses a four-band system of moving lenses to ensure stable shooting even when shooting hand-held and field recording. It includes a triple hand ring (focus, zoom and aperture), an ND filter and two memory card slots. Advantages of the presence of two memory card slots include that you can mirror images across both cards for data security, automatically switch to the second card once the first card if full and it gives you the ability to write different file formats to different memory cards.

Wide recording capabilities

The camera supports a wide range of recording and framing formats, such as 60p / 50p / 24p. With the 4K Ultra HD resolution, you can take amazing recordings, all with a compact camera that is perfectly mobile. It is the ideal camera for professionals who record documentaries. You can record videos in AVCHD, MOV and MP4 formats. Full HD recording uses ALL-Intra compression to achieve a maximum bit rate of 200 Mb / s for extraordinary image quality.

Exceptional image quality

The Leica Dicomar lens delivers crisp, clear image quality while retaining the subtle nuances and shadows Leica's lenses are renowned for. Due to the higher read speed of the BSI, a large 4K data rate can be processed at a high speed of 60/50 frames per second. Crystal Engine Pro 4K ensures that the processing of the massive 4K resolution data is quick, accurate and reduces noise.

20x zoom and no blurred scenes

The camera, with its compact body, provides 20x zoom with the individual movement of each of the four lens groups. POWER OIS for 4K uses built-in gyroscopic sensors that detect hand shake up to 4,000 times per second to compensate for the lens. This will also remedy a slow shaking of the hands caused by breathing. Objects remain sharp even with 20x 4K shots. For Full HD resolution, a 5-axis HYBRID OIS + stabiliser is present, which uses a 5-axis compensation to suppress blurring from wide to zoomed images. In almost every situation, sharp shooting is ensured.

ND filter

ND filters are built into the lens to suppress the incident light. The filter can be selected (1/4, 1/16, 1/64 or OFF) depending on the environment. For example, this option is useful if you want to shoot at a slow shutter speed in bright daylight. Once the aperture is opened, you can also achieve high resolution and a shallow depth of field.

Wi-Fi and NFC

You can control and monitor your camcorder remotely using Panasonic Image App on your smartphone or iOS or Android tablet. With NFC, you can also connect the camera to a smart device with a single touch. For non-NFC devices, QR codes are available.
