1976. An Air France plane on the way from Tel Aviv to Paris is hijacked. German radicals Brigitte Kuhlmann ( Rosamund Pike ) and Wilfried Böse ( Daniel Brühl ), together with two members of the People' s Front for the Liberation of Palestine, will force the plane to land in Entebbe, Uganda. They demand a $ 5 million ransom and the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israel, or they will start killing hostages.
Operation Entebbe was one of the largest and most costly rescue operations in history.
