The DVI-D cable is suitable for the digital connection of LCD panels to a computer. The DVI-D standard only transmits a digital signal, so it can connect the digital output to the graphics card and the digital LCD display. It cannot be combined with DVI <-> VGA reductions. The cable is fully shielded and can transmit two channels at the same time (dual-link), and it can handle a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 pixels at 60Hz. It is also suitable for Full HD 1080p resolution.
