The Novation Peak eight-voice polyphonic synthesizer includes 3 new Oxford oscillators for each voice. Oxford oscillators surprise with their completely analog sound, consisting of numerically controlled oscillators (NCO), but at the same time offer the flexibility of digital space with 17 digital wavetably. Oscillators can also become a linear source of FM modulation using analog-sounding NCOs or digital wavetables - so they are able to cross-modulate in a recursive loop .

Innovative Oxford oscillators with two sound generation techniques - NCO (Numerically Controlled Oscillators) and 17 digital wavetably
Each voice has a distortion before and after the filter + total distortion. There is also a polyphonic aftertouch, linear FM modulation, high quality reverb, delay and chorus or a built-in arpeggiator
Extended modulation system with a modulation matrix of 16 slots and 16 direct modulation assignments with front panel controls. Each voice has three ADSR envelopes and 2 LFO + animation buttons
The Novation Peak synthesizer has a CV input for modulation using modular synthesizers

Three distortion points for each voice

The synthesizer has a resonant multi-mode analog filter for each voice and three distortion points for each voice - pre-filter, post-filter and global - in the analog signal chain. Peak is able to receive a polyphonic aftertouch. Reverberation, delay and chorus effects are available, and there is also an arpeggiator.
