Naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil comes from wild-caught fish. Fish oil is not obtained as a by-product, but directly from whole small fish such as sardines, mackerel and anchovies. These fish are caught in the wild and their fishing is governed by strict guidelines. The fish oil is then purified of harmful substances and PCBs and controlled according to strict Norwegian regulations.

Absolutely natural, without concentrates - NORSAN Omega-3 Total natural fish oil contains a complex of more than 50 fatty acids. This natural fatty acid structure is preserved during the extraction and purification process. Consuming unconcentrated natural omega-3 oil has a similar effect to consuming fish alone. NORSAN absolutely does not use any concentrates because the natural fish oil complex is chemically destroyed and then reconstructed with an artificially high concentration of omega-3.
Unique 3-phase purification with micro distillation - effective purification, which is normally performed in two phases, ensures that the fish oil is free of harmful substances. For the purification of NORSAN Total fish oil, we use a modern and unique three-step method that also includes a costly micro-distillation process. This enables us to offer the best and purest quality.
Why linseed oil alone is not enough - EPA and DHA are present in marine fish, algae and shellfish. Most omega-3 vegetable oils, such as flaxseed and chia oil, contain only the plant omega-3 fatty acid ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), but no EPA or DHA.
No heartburn - the high quality of the ingredients used prevents unpleasant heartburn after taking Omega-3 Total capsules. The Arctic Ocean is particularly rich in nutrients and not very polluted. In addition, there is a maximum of 4 hours between catching the fish and processing it. Are omega-3 capsules or oil better for me?

The choice between the capsules and the Omega-3 Total oil is simply a matter of preference. On the one hand, capsules are more practical for travel and more suitable for people who want to avoid consuming oil.
On the other hand, however, liquid oil is easier to incorporate into your daily diet because it can be simply added to food like regular oil. You don't have to consume it on a spoon separately, but NORSAN Omega-3 oils taste so good thanks to their purity that they can be consumed separately without any problems.
Another aspect is the price difference. The capsules are slightly more expensive than the oil itself as they require additional processing in the manufacturing process.
