Noctua NF-R8 redux-1800 PWM

The NOCTUA NF-R8 PWM redux 1800 fan is among the award-winning models that brought the brand NOCTUA into the limelight. It uses the power of nine integrated blades with a diameter of 80mm. The speed of the blades reaches up to 1800rpm. Airflow is increased due to the cuts on the tips of the blades. Supporting fully automatic PWM speed control, the fan uses Noctua's custom-designed NE-FD1 PWM IC that integrates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By providing smoother torque impulses, SCD suppresses PWM switching noises and thus makes the fan quieter at low speeds. It also offers an unprecedented average lifespan exceeding 150,000 hours (17 years!). All this with excellent performance, legendary quiet operation, and all the other great features that true geeks appreciate.
