The Netatmo Smart Anemometer has  4 integrated ultrasonic sensors to accurately determine the wind speed and its direction. You can set the alerts of any change of wind speed and direction via the mobile application. This gives you a complete overview of the weather before you leave your home and you will be prepared in advance for the current state of the weather out there. You will also definitely appreciate the possibility of wireless connection between modules with a range up to 100 meters. The application that works with all smart devices running iOS, Android and Windows phone is free. For the data transmission, it is necessary to have an Internet connection and Wi-Fi router.
