The lift side lock kit contains both the ratchet part and the counterpart (fixed part) that holds the rear or front dump face. The fixed grip with profiled plastic-coated handle prevents unintentional opening of the side or front of the lift. The closing pressure of the sidewall can be adjusted by turning the threaded part in the ratchet body. When used on enclosed lifts and trailers with tarpaulin, the attachment section can be secured with a safety cotter pin, a customs cable, or a small lock for total load security (not included)
