The Routerboard is a flexible compact size network element that can work as a router and access point. It also supports bridge functionality in WDS mode between two networks. Compared to the previous models, it features an already integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi card under 802.11b / g standards. Another possible extension is through a free mini PCI slot.
The outputs include a classic RJ-45 LAN connector with a 10/100 Mbit / s RS-232C (COM) serial port. The heart of the RouterBox is a processor clocked at 300 MHz. The NAND memory stores the pre-installed MikroTik RouterOS v3 Level 4 operating system that fully supports IPv6, static and dynamic routing, firewall, DNS, and several other features. The Roterboard can be powered by a classic DC adapter or LAN network as it supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology.
