Since the first CCR1009 devices were launched, we have attempted to combine all of the customer feedback we have received together with CCR's manufacturing best practices. The device now features only fully independent Ethernet ports which have a direct connection to the CPU, allowing them to overcome the previously shared 1Gbit limitation from switch-chip ports and there allow the device to utilise the full potential of the CPU processing power on those ports.

Connect to other SFP + and Combo Ports

Thanks to the available interface, it is also suitable for backbone and remote connections to the existing network. You can choose extra fast SFP + (up to 10 Gbps) and Combo Ports. This router exclusively supports 100MASE 100BASE-LX, 100BASE-SX, 100BASE-BX and standard SFP 1.25g modules. The Combo port has two hardware interfaces - SFP and Gigabit Ethernet. This allows you to use the type of connection you have so you do not need to close the upgrade door. If the Combo port is disconnected, it provides a failover override function.
