The CCR1009 switch has been enhanced by a combination of previous customer feedback and best practices for manufacturing devices that manage network traffic. The device now features only fully independent Ethernet ports, each with a direct connection to the CPU allowing to overcome previous shared 1Gbit limitation from switch-chip ports. This opens up the full potential of these ports, as higher throughput is achieved.
The switch is also suitable for backbone and remote connections with the existing network. You can choose an extra fast SFP + (up to 10Gbps) and Combo Port. This switch exclusively supports 100BASE-LX, 100BASE-SX, 100BASE-BX 100BASE and SFP 1.25G standard modules. The combo port has two hardware interfaces - SFP and Gigabit Ethernet, so you can use the type of connection you have available and not close the door on an upgrade. If the Combo port is disconnected, it provides a failover override function.
