Gentle on your wallet and your laundry
Heat pump dryers are characterised by high energy efficiency, so they dry your laundry in an exceptionally economical way. The low temperature used by the heat pump technology saves your wallet, but also the fibres of your laundry.
Gentle drying for delicate laundry
Save time when washing at 40°C and then drying your laundry, while giving your clothes optimal care. After washing at 40°C, you can simply put your laundry in the Miele TWH 780 WP dryer without needing to sort it. The low air temperatures protect delicate textiles, especially when you use the additional DryCare 40 Extra function for various drying programmes.
The MIELE TWH 780 WP tumble dryer protects laundry from creasing
If you don't have time or simply don't want to remove your laundry as soon as the programme has finished, the anti-crease function loosens the laundry at regular intervals so it doesn't get creased inside the dryer.
Economical, powerful and almost maintenance-free DuraLife motor
Miele's DuraLife inverter motor combines high performance with economical and quiet operation. Thanks to its electronic control and carbon brush-free design, it operates almost without wear, which contributes to its long service life. The innovative design also supports efficient, reliable and convenient laundry care for many years. Patent EP 2 840 679.
Long appliance life
In the MIELE TWH 780 WP dryer, the heat exchanger is protected by an effective filter system and does not need to be cleaned. The dryer will alert you when the filter in front of the exchanger needs to be cleaned.
Efficient and maintenance-free drying with DryProtect
The DryProtect system helps Miele dryers maintain high performance throughout their lifetime. The patented filter system (patent EP 2 455 537) contributes to consistently short programme times and lower energy consumption, saving time and money while reducing wear and tear on the dryer. In addition, the effective PROtect system protects the heat exchanger, so it does not need to be cleaned.
Energy-efficient laundry drying
Miele dryers are designed to minimise energy consumption and achieve top energy efficiency, with some models even exceeding it. You'll be surprised by the great drying results with short programmes.
Hygienically dry in a short time
The HygieneDry programme ensures exceptional hygiene thanks to a long holding time at a specific temperature, eliminating more than 99.99% of tested bacteria and mould and 99.9% of viruses. It also reliably destroys dust mites and bedbugs. This programme is ideal for laundry marked with two dots on the label and meets the highest hygiene standards for laundry care. The effectiveness has been confirmed by the Rhine-Waal and Albstadt-Sigmaringen Universities of Applied Sciences.
PerfectDry
The MIELE TWH 780 WP tumble dryer has a PerfectDry function which detects the calcium content of the water and adjusts the drying process accordingly.
Fragrantly scent your laundry with FragranceDos2
Miele fragrance flacons beautifully scent your favourite clothes while they dry. The MIELE TWH 780 WP tumble dryer has two fragrance slots. You can choose from several different fragrance options. The fragrant laundry will delight your senses for up to 4 weeks. The fragrances come from a family business in the south of France.
Exceptionally quiet drying
Experience drying like never before with the SilenceDrum. Thanks to its special design, the drum is exceptionally quiet. Integrated damping strips prevent rattling noises from escaping, for example when drying clothes with buttons and zips. You can use the MIELE TWH 780 WP tumble dryer even near living areas without it disturbing your peace and quiet.
Integrated condensate drainage
All Miele tumble dryers have integrated condensate drainage with a hose reel. This allows you to pump the condensed water directly into a sink or siphon, saving you the effort of emptying the condensate container.
AddLoad
With the AddLoad function, you can add any forgotten item of laundry even after the programme has started, right up until the very end. To use this function, just press the 'Start/Add laundry' button.
Synchronise your dryer with your washing machine
With the Wash2Dry networking function, your washing machine automatically sends data to the dryer after washing, which then selects the right drying programme. Just move the laundry from the washing machine to the dryer, switch it on and select Wash2Dry. Enjoy perfectly dry clothes without the effort. WiFi is required for connection.
Reversible door opening
The ability to change the opening direction of the MIELE TWH 780 WP tumble dryer door gives you flexibility when planning its placement. Simply adapt the door opening to your needs.
Excellent quality and long life
Some car engines are tested for 3000 hours; Miele tests the performance of its dryers for up to 7500 hours. The testing is carried out day and night with a comprehensive and precise approach, so you can enjoy perfect results year after year.
Minimal moisture loss
The MIELE TWH 780 WP tumble dryer achieves the best seal, which results in less leakage of warm, humid air and guarantees the highest condensation efficiency class. High moisture loss can cause mould on walls and can damage the building's structure, which is not a concern with a Miele dryer.
Gentle care for your clothes
The Miele tumble dryer offers various programmes for the specific needs of your clothes. The shirts and blouses programme minimises creasing, making ironing much easier. The special programme for jeans protects against faded stripes and creases, while the delicates cycle keeps synthetic fibres looking new for a long time. The woollens handcare finish provides gentle care for delicate woollen textiles. The express programme enables quick drying of smaller loads, ideal for when you're in a hurry. The proofing function ensures optimal water-repellency for functional textiles. And the bedding programme guarantees even drying of large-volume textiles.
