This cable is designed to connect a SAS controller with four Serial SAS devices. It is designed for use with ADAPTEC controllers, specifically 2405/ 51245/ 51645/ 52445/ 5xx5/ 31x05/ 3xx5. The cable is 0.5 meters long.
SAS is an upgraded version of the SCSI generation that improves the storage system performance and improves its availability. Discs with this interface will be useful for database and high-performance applications, high-availability data, as well as data archiving or backup.
