Metabond Old Spezial is a special metal surface finish for internal combustion engine parts. It contains a viscosity modifier and is additionally enriched with ceramic nanoparticles. Using this product greatly reduces engine friction while limiting leakage. You can use it especially with older worn-out combustion engines, which have a noticeable consumption of engine oil. Just apply Metabond Old Spezial to the manufacturers prescribed oil.
Due to a special substance with a high viscosity content a high sealing effect is ensured. This reduces oil consumption and increases compression in the engine. Ceramic nanoparticles are scattered through the oil into all places that are frictionally stressed. It saturates the unevenness of metal surfaces such as cylinders, pistons, bearings, gears and others to form a thin layer. This will compensate for inequalities.
This layer remains in the affected areas even after the oil has drained, which is particularly evident in cold starts when the friction surfaces are constantly protected. It makes a significant contribution to extending the life of the engine. It also helps reduce the content of poisonous substances in the exhaust. Ceramic nanoparticles are significantly smaller than the openings in the filter structure, so there is no clogging of the oil filter.
For passenger cars with an oil consumption of 0.4-0.5l/1000km use a half pack - 125ml. If oil consumption reaches 0.6-1l/1000km, use the entire pack - 250ml. Freight wagons with a capacity of 1l/1000km one package is sufficient - 250ml. If the oil drops more than 2l/1000km, use two packs - 500ml. Metabond Old Spezial is applied to the heated engine and it is important to warm the container to approximately 30°C. Allow the engine to run for 10-15 minutes after application. It is ideal to use the product every time you change oil.
Store in a dry place at temperatures between -10 and +40°C. After opening, use within 2 years. When sealed it lasts up to 5 years from purchase.
