Without hope

When seventeen-year-old Sky meets Dean Holder – perhaps the only guy with a reputation even worse than her own – something inside her changes. For the first time, she feels something that all her previous superficial relationships failed to awaken. Holder captivates and terrifies her during their very first meeting, but most importantly, he manages to rouse her from an emotional numbness she had come to accept as part of her nature. However, he also triggers memories of her past – memories so painful she wishes she could keep them buried deep forever. Recommended age 15+
