Monuments of Winter is the much-anticipated sequel to the Czech space opera.
The Menabaran Prime Minister Avrian Dann’s plan has succeeded. The Viridian King has been deceived and Emperor Andrej Korwarian has suffered a heavy loss. While a broken Georg Talminis returns home, the Algor Emperor begins planning a rescue mission and retaliation. The director of the Viridian secret service, Michail Petrov, does not intend to stand aside either. On Menabaran, with a handful of allies, he launches a spy operation with well-hidden personal motives, stopping at nothing.
The situation in Avrian Dann’s government is also escalating. Not everyone is happy with the direction the new Prime Minister is taking, and many of his allies are quietly plotting their own plans. And the Vanberg sisters, along with Darren Iverson, set off from Newell on a treasure hunt that will take them deep into space, to a place they definitely didn't want to end up. Finding their way back – or at least surviving – will be all the more difficult.
Ancient monuments hide many secrets in their icy depths. Some, however, are still alive, and even after hundreds of years, are lethally dangerous.
