Survivor wins.
A group of ten Finns meet in the Corsican mountains. They were chosen from thousands of applicants not because they were exceptional, experienced or the best. On the contrary, they're all losers who aren't doing very well in life. They lack strong will, ability, diligence and humility. This is their chance. All they have to do is to complete the GR 20, Europe's toughest trek, in 13 days with only basic equipment. The prize for the winner? One million euros, divided among all those who finish the race within the time limit. Alive.
Five men and five women set out determinedly on a journey. Individuals become a homogeneous group, losers turn into fighters and the competition suddenly becomes a desperate struggle for survival. Participants start dying under strange circumstances, and others begin to realize that the fewer people who run out, the larger the share that goes to the remaining ones. They all have to reach the bottom of their strength to come back at all. Who will survive and emerge victorious in the end?
