War of the old souls is a story of battles between wandering souls and the fight to protect a family
Her name was Claire… until the moment she died. A car appeared out of nowhere and hit Claire just as she was watching an unknown assailant murder her husband. Claire died instantly, but her soul refused to leave this world until she could help her beloved husband – or at least avenge him. And so, instead of dying, Claire awakens in the body of Lene von Bechstein, a wealthy businesswoman who has just committed suicide.
But Lene's body was the final piece in a carefully laid plan by a powerful old soul who wanted to steal Lene's life for herself. A plan that Claire has unintentionally thwarted. A plan that will drag her into the middle of a war between wandering souls, whose attention means a death from which there is no escape, not even with the ability to move from body to body. Claire will have to tread carefully if she is to avoid the old souls, fanatics, and intrigues of her new life and, above all, complete the task she has set for herself: to protect her family.
