Uniform

The Uniform is the first book in the Copenhagen Night crime series by author Thomas Rydahl. This is a detective novel about many souls living under one night sky, but who often do not meet and do not want to meet. But above all, it is a raw and surprising detective story in the style of the classic Scandinavian tradition – with strong central characters.
Salma is a student and sees the world around her in dark colours. Young people are violent, older people are cynical, and her family is falling apart after the death of her younger sister. Life in Copenhagen is generally becoming more and more unbearable. However, when her friend is attacked, Salma finds a meaningful path in life. He is trying to get accepted into the police academy and wants to get to the bottom of the case. Whatever it costs.
The second main character is so different from Salma that it' s almost impossible to tell. Fuzzy is a hardened criminal, a beekeeper, and a father of two. He plans to run away from everything, but when he finds a counterfeit banknote during a robbery, it turns his life upside down. He must uncover the perpetrator, even if it means dying in the process.
