Turquoise Eye

A bracelet adorned with a turquoise eye fatefully connected two cousins – Eliška Abrhámová and Justýna Jansová. What is the story behind the family whose ancestors were goldsmiths? Who, even after all these years, directs their hatred towards them, and why?
The detective story titled Tyrkysové oko (The Turquoise Eye) uncovers old family grievances that should have remained forgotten… but didn't. They came back to life the moment Eliška and Justýna – granddaughters of a First Republic jeweller – decided to sell a rare turquoise statue they had inherited. They were only allowed to cash it in when they found themselves in a crisis and in dire need of money. And that is exactly what happened…
One of them gave birth to an illegitimate child, the other is getting divorced; both are at a crossroads in life, searching for direction. But someone is watching their every move, and they do not wish them well. The thrilling crime drama takes place in the Moravian town of Přerov and unravels the dark fates of the members of a seemingly normal family.
