Trees of Pride

Trees of Pride is an unconventional detective story from the English countryside. A wealthy landowner plants exotic trees on his estate, which the locals believe to be cursed. According to them, the trees bring death to everyone in the vicinity. Their owner dismisses this as a superstition and decides to prove it by spending a night in one of the trees. The next morning, however, he is nowhere to be found.
