Transgression

Four brutal murders. A killer with no apparent motive. And the only woman who can stop him. Experienced and talented forensic psychiatrist Jane Halifax is asked by former colleague - and former lover - Inspector Eric Ringer to help solve a brutal murder. The victim was found strangely arranged and impaled on a priceless statue in the entrance hall of a large mansion. The perpetrator left nothing behind and the crime scene provides no clues to suggest who might have committed such a cruel and strangely ritualistic act. Jane is reluctant to get involved in the case, but something sinister keeps pulling her towards it. And when the bodies start piling up, each murder more brutal than the last, her skills are put to the test. Can he detect the killer's next move before he strikes again?
