The Story of the Fourth Wise Man

You know well the story of the Three Wise Men from the East and how they travelled from afar to lay their gifts at the manger in Bethlehem. But have you ever heard the story of the fourth wise man, who also saw the star rise and followed it, but did not arrive with his brothers to see the baby Jesus? What was his journey like? This wonderful story about searching and the journey to Jesus has been in print almost continuously since its first publication in 1895 and has been the basis for several adaptations.
