A funny and charming fairy tale story enhanced by the songs of Václav Noid Bárta and Evžen Gogely
The audio version of The Secret of the Old Bambitka 2 follows the successful television adaptation of The Secret of the Old Bambitka 1. The family of King James and Queen Anne has grown with the addition of their daughter Johanka. She would love to find out what happened to the robber Karaba, about whom she so often hears stories, and she also has a look at his navel, stored in the castle's depository.
In this story, the robber Karaba, now an honest potter and her grandfather, meets the queen from the next kingdom, Julia. The two fall in love, and eventually overcome the evil brought into Juliet's realm by the counsellors Lorenc and Ferenc. Together with James, his family and his subjects, all good people will triumph over the scoundrels selling fake magic pots and robbing the nation. The rascals are punished and love wins. The fairy tale is read by Veronika Khek Kubařová, the representative of Queen Julia, with her extraordinary gift for storytelling. Songs, sung by Tomáš Klus, Veronika Khek Kubařová, Jiří Lábus, Miroslav Vladyka and Václav Noid Bárta, underline the power of the whole narrative.
