The Scandalous Habsburgs

The Habsburgs ruled in Europe for 640 years, so it's no wonder that many members of this sprawling dynasty became infamous. Some were merely fascinated by various curiosities, while others crossed the line into madness. While Maria Theresa, for example, fanatically tried to bring all her subjects to morality, her relatives were rife with salacious affairs and forbidden sexual practices. They tried to hide their bizarre behaviour in every possible way until malicious opponents or gossiping servants revealed it to the world.
