The Magician's Escape from Reality is a sarcastic feel-good novel about friendship, envy, love and what happens when you don't help a little girl pick flowers.
Can a magical forest change a pretentious magician? Like a magician, Anton can untie complex knots with one hand behind his back. As a man, he can hardly buy a cup of coffee without getting into trouble. Actually, he should be quite happy, but sometimes he can't help but think of his friends from his youth, Sebastian and Charlotte, and to that, that thousands of people pay a lot of money to see their spectacular magic show, while he performs in dismal nursing homes. Life can be hellishly unfair.
Then Anton has an accident during his tour - near Tiveden National Park in Sweden, he crashes his car into a sofa in the middle of the road. They get lost in an ancient forest and find it teeming with supernatural creatures and unexplained phenomena. Unwillingly, he becomes involved in an ancient struggle between good and evil, in which Anton's worst enemy turns out to be his own personality.
