The High Priest's Legacy 1 - Torch of Destiny

An evil that was vanquished centuries ago has returned. The church that fought it in ancient times is corrupt and the fearless, blameless adventurers exist only in legends. The one who must fight it is Dahakus, a tiny hobbit who has never desired anything more than a comfortable life. But fate has willed it otherwise, and he must seek out the mythical heroes about whom terrible legends are told. This throws him into a stream of events that will take him to the far north, where the Torch of Destiny is hidden – a powerful artefact that has protected the people of Garbon from the power of the dark gods for hundreds of years. But even there, his victory is not guaranteed. His enemies are well aware of the Torch of Destiny's power, and so they will do everything they can to thwart the expedition. Dahakus's comfortable life is in ruins, and he must flex his muscles and his wits to overcome all the pitfalls. Fortunately, he has Ognis and Hrun by his side, who are helping him in every way they can.
