The Haunter - Between us dragons

After many years, the fairy-tale lizard Hypolite wakes up from a long sleep in a deep underground lair and remembers his fellow sledges. The one-headed ones like him, and the three-, seven- and many-headed ones, about which there are many legends and fairy tales in our country and all over the world. It will remind us of a time when dragons still ate princesses and fought dragon slayers. In addition to the brave knights and youths who dared to stand up to the dragons, Hypolytus also knows quite unusual dragon and sleigh slayers, and women are not missing among them. And they also talk about dragons that have befriended humans for various reasons. He tells all sorts of stories about all this on a happy and sad note and proves that even dragons don't have to lack feeling and a sense of humour. His stories come from various places in the Czech Republic and also mention foreign dragons, which are especially popular in China. Like the previous five volumes of The Haunter, the book was illustrated by Zdeňka Studlarová.
