The Forester

Backwoodsman Milt Dale, torn from his peaceful life in the silence of the mountain forests of the Wild West, becomes both the instigator and witness of thrilling events. He helps his friends fight against bandits and desperados, overcomes a wide variety of complications and traps, and all the while deals with an internal conflict: Should he return to the company of people, or stick to his solitary way of life in the untamed wilderness? • The evocative depiction of nature confirms the author's excellent knowledge of the Wild West and the people to whom this land cast its spell.
