The case of the twice-dead lady

Shortly after one of the patients on the first floor of the hospital in Týn spots a body falling early in the morning, a dead woman is found on the sidewalk in the hospital garden. At that moment, no one doubts that Zdena Nádvorníková, who was seriously ill and eight weeks pregnant, committed suicide. However, a subsequent pathology examination revealed that the woman had died before the fall. Kamila Vernerová is assigned to investigate the case, assisted in her work by her friend, surgeon Michal Kameník.
