Scarlett Wilková
Scarlett Wilková is a journalist who has been writing ever since she joined the editorial office of a company magazine in Ostrava after finishing secondary school. She then worked for various media outlets and, for the last twenty years, has primarily written for Magazín DNES, where she focuses on interviews and topics concerning social trends. She also participates in non-profit projects dealing with the issues of senior citizens' lives. She collaborates with the Post Bellum organisation, which runs the Memory of the Nation database. For them, she recorded the memories of Greek witnesses, which inspired her debut novel, *Až uvidíš moře* (When You See the Sea). In her second novel, *Ty chladné oči* (Those Cold Eyes), she touches upon the theme of collaboration with the Nazi regime during the Second World War. Her book *Desetkrát a dost* (Ten Times and It's Enough) returns to Greece. Her novel *Když přišli psi* (When the Dogs Came) depicts the fates of the inhabitants of the post-war Beskydy Mountains.
