Emptiness threatens the existence of all life

The year is 3326. Nigel Sheldon, one of the founders of the Fellowship, is visited by the Raiel, ancient guardians of the borders of the Void. The Void, a mysterious entity at the core of the galaxy, threatens the existence of all life. The Raiels convince Nigel to use their help to break in. Who else but Nigel could pull off their daring and crazy plan?
Deep within the Void, Nigel discovers that the laws of physics work differently and that humans wield mental powers indistinguishable from magic. And also that humans are not the only life forms that the Void has swallowed. The descendants of the first colonists are fighting an alien species of intelligent and ruthless killers. Thus, the Fallen are said to be able to create nanobiological mimicry and become indistinguishable from humans.
The merciless attacks of the Fallen continue, the human community loses its fragile balance and is engulfed by a popular revolution. Time is running out and Nigel must unravel the mysteries of the Void before he is killed by the very people he is trying to save.
